About us

Good impression material shouldn't be a line item you dread

Premium VPS has been priced like a luxury for years, and practices have quietly absorbed it — or switched to something cheaper and paid for it in remakes instead. We built ImpressiveBite to end that trade.

Why we started

A remake costs a practice far more than a cartridge. There's the chair time, the lab fee, the temporary that has to be remade, and a patient who now believes your office had to do it twice.

We kept hearing the same thing from clinicians: the material that works is expensive enough to ration, and the material that's affordable isn't reliable enough to trust on the cases that matter. So practices end up with two products on the shelf and a small, constant calculation about which one this patient deserves.

ImpressiveBite exists to remove that calculation. One line of VPS, made to a specification we're willing to publish, sold direct to the practice at a price that doesn't make you think twice about using the good stuff on a routine quadrant.

How selling direct changes the price

Dental supply has a lot of layers between the factory and the operatory, and every one of them takes a margin. We removed most of them. We manufacture to our specification, hold inventory in one U.S. distribution center, and ship it to you.

That's the entire trick. It isn't a cheaper formulation — it's a shorter path. What we don't spend on a distribution chain shows up in either the price or the quality, and we've tried to put it in both.

What we hold ourselves to

Four commitments, in plain language

Published specs, tested lots

Every number on our technical page is a number we test against. Every lot is checked before it's released, and every carton carries the lot and expiry so a problem can be traced to its batch.

No contracts, no minimums

Buy one pack or twenty. There's no annual commitment, no auto-ship you have to remember to cancel, and no penalty for going back to what you used before.

Support from people who've done it

When you call about a failed impression, you'll talk to someone who can ask the right follow-up questions — field temperature, adhesive dry time, removal technique — and give you a real answer.

Stock on the shelf, orders out the door

We hold real inventory rather than drop-shipping. Orders placed by 2:00 PM ET leave the same day, and most of the country sees them within two business days.

Who we sell to

American dental practices, of every size

We ship to licensed dental practices in all 50 states. The order sizes look very different, but the material and the support are the same.

  • Solo and small group practices — order what you need, when you need it, with no minimum standing between you and a fair price
  • DSOs and multi-location groups — volume pricing, consolidated invoicing, per-location shipping and a single point of contact
  • Prosthodontic and implant practices — the rigidity and dimensional stability that multi-unit and transfer-coping work demands
  • Dental laboratories — consistent pours from case to case, because the chemistry doesn't change between lots
  • Dental schools and residency programs — educational pricing on practice-pack quantities
